The doubles match of the week saw Meopham G hosting to Meopham H with Pat Hodge, Peter Stacey and Chris Stacey for the G team, and Jane Geddes, Joe Baker and Sam Ugarte-Perez for the H team. Jane and Joe did well to take a game to deuce against Pat and Chris, and Joe and Sam did one better taking a game off of Pat and Chris. Otherwise it was mainly one sided, with Meopham G taking a 6-0 victory.
The other match of the week saw the top team Meopham F against current second place Culverstone B. Meopham F came out in force with a very strong team of Arie Van Der Leer, Alan Lander and Zhong Jiao Tan whilst the usual suspects of Steve Randall, Jane Hyde and Helene Spence played for Culverstone. Tan must have been on form as she only dropped one game to Jane on her way to three wins. Jane was also nearly the banana-skin in Arie and Alan's evening as she took both of them to a deciding game, but lost both in the fifth. Alan eventually slipped up against Steve in his first loss of the season. Overall it was a 8-1 win for Meopham F.
