The doubles match of the week saw the clash of the two teams who are battling for second place - Culverstone B and Meopham G. With Culverstone putting forward their strongest in Jane Hyde, Steve Randall and Julie Roper, and with Meopham playing Ling Ling Guo, Joanna Lam and Chris Stacey, the night was closely fought. Almost all games were well contested with many going to deuce, but overall Culverstone came out on top to take the evening 4-2 which increases their lead over Meopham G to six points.
The singles match this week saw the top team, Meopham F, against the bottom, Meopham G. Arie Van Der Leer, Chris Brett and Luiyun Guo for the F team and Chris O'Brien, Peter Rogers and Ryan Worthington for the H team. The player of the night was Chris O'Brien who not only took a game off of Arie and Chris Brett, but also came through to beat Guo in straight sets. But the F team proved too strong and took the evening 8-1.
