The match of the week saw Dartfordians A take on GRFC A which Dartfordians won 6-4 thus securing at least second place. Justin Dodd was in phenominal form taking revenge on Peter Davis for his only defeat of the season and won all his matches comfortably in straight games. Peter Rushbrook won 1 and at that 13-11 in the final game against the as ever determined Martin Winter. Peter then lost 11-8 in the fifth against Steve Mansfiled. Peter Davis and Ian Martin both won 2 for Dartordians and also the doubles.
Dartfordans B continued their fine season with a 8-2 win over Traders A. both these teams gained promotion last season to the Premier Diivsion but whilst Datfordians, helped by the acquisition of Ted Tydeman, have thrived ,Traders have struggled and look certain of being relegated. Ted won his 3 as did Sam Vinton and Mick Sheppard picked up 1.Cliff Roberts and Clive Pattison both beat Mick.
Top played bottom when Meopham A met Meopham C. It was certainly not all plain sailing for the A team with Emma Tovey again having a marvellous night. Emma displayed some great controlled, aggressive play in defeating Brian Lees again (Emma beat Brian last time) and also Dave Wilkins. Emma was stopped from a memorable trio of wins by Mark Heaton. The A team therefore won 8-2 and interestingly have done far better against their B team this season than their C team or should I say Emma! 
Chris Penning had perhaps his best result of the season when picking up a maximum 3 against Sutton A with good wins against David Brent, Carol Homeweood and Adrian Foster. Chris, Carol and Adrian know each others games well as they play in the same divsiions Bromley and North West Kent as well as Gravesend. Together with Tom Tobin he also won the doubles to secure a 6-4 win for Meopham B who with a couple of matches in hand could still finish fourth in the table.
With 2 weeks to go Meopham A could wrap up the title next week in a tough away match with Dartfordians B. The Dartfordians A team play at Sutton A  which may well also be a tight match.
