Congratulations to Sutton A as they took the Turner Trophy on Tuesday in a very good victory over Gravesend RFC B. Adrian Foster, David Brent and Carol Homewood represented Sutton A, while Ian Parsons, Roy Marsh and Garth Ferguson played for GRFC B. The match couldn't have been closer in the first half as only a few points separated both teams, but in the second half, Sutton slowly edged further and further ahead to win the match by 46 points at 542-496.

New County Level Umpires

Congratulations to Jane Geddes, Dan Broad and Mark Foxwell who all qualified as County Level Umpires after taking the practical part of the examination at the Kent Senior Closed Championships on Sunday. Along with Andy Larner, there are now four County Level Umpires in the Gravesend League, but there is still a shortage of umpires in Kent. If anyone is interested in becoming an umpire, contact the Kent Umpire's Secretary David Cue for more information.
